Major scholars from the United States and Europe will participate in two-day public conference featuring musical performances.
James Conlon, artistic adviser to the Colburn School's Ziering-Conlon Initiative for Recovered Voices, announced today that the initiative will present a two-day, public symposium entitled “Music, Censorship and Meaning in Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union: Echoes and Consequences” on August 9 and 10, 2014, at the Colburn School. The event is open to interested students, musicians, teachers and members of the public at no cost. Advance online registration is required.
